A criminal case was initiated after the death of a worker as a result of an avalanche on Sakhalin. This was reported in the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Sakhalin Region.

The avalanche came down in the area of ​​the Poltava River on the territory of the Solntsevsky coal mine. As a result, two of them were under the snow, the rest got out on their own.

The Solntsevsky coal mine is the largest coal mining enterprise in the Sakhalin Region with a full cycle for the extraction and shipment of solid fuel.
