Bloomberg’s erroneous headline about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine demonstrates how dangerous Western-instigated tensions are. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, according to TASS.
“It could hardly have been a provocation, it was hardly a provocation – one should not exaggerate here,” he said.
According to the press secretary of the head of the Russian state, “this situation demonstrates how dangerous, in general, such tension that prevails and which is provoked by the daily aggressive statements that we hear from Washington, from European capitals, from London.” Peskov explained that “it is precisely the actions of daily, daily pumping up Ukraine with weapons that lead to precisely such tension, and during such tension, any spark is extremely dangerous.”
He added that you can even say not “fake news”, but “Bloomberg news”, which will be justified.
Earlier, the US agency Bloomberg published a headline about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, then removed it and acknowledged the error.
“We are preparing headlines for many scenarios, and the headline ‘Russia Invades Ukraine’ was accidentally posted today around 4 pm ET (around 0000 GMT) on our website. We deeply regret this mistake. The headline has been removed and we are investigating the cause,” the post reads.
