Ex-Foreign Minister of Poland: It will be enough to destroy 300 Russian tanks, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine will end

Ukraine has enough anti-tank weapons to hit every Russian tank in the event of a full-scale war. As the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, now MEP Radoslav Sikorsky, told Evropeyskaya Pravda, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov spoke about this.

Sikorsky pointed out that since Ukraine is not an official member of NATO, it makes no sense to wait for the Western military. Nevertheless, there will still be help from partners, because Ukraine is a friendly democracy, Sikorsky explained.

He stressed that Ukraine’s right to self-defense is guaranteed by both the UN Charter and the principles of the OSCE. At the same time, the politician recalled that during the Helsinki process, it was Moscow, as the capital of the USSR, that demanded guarantees of the inviolability of borders, “and now it is violating this principle.”

“After all, you (Ukraine) have the Budapest Memorandum,” he added. This means that the West has not only the right, but also the moral obligation to help Ukraine defend itself.

Sikorsky emphasized: “What you are already getting from the West is nothing.” In his opinion, anti-tank weapons are “a real help.”

Ukrainian Minister Reznikov assured MEPs that Kiev has enough anti-tank weapons to hit every Russian tank.

“And if the Russian invasion starts, then believe that it will be enough to destroy 300 Russian tanks – and the invasion will be completed, they will turn back,” Sikorsky is sure.

Earlier in the office of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that the Russian authorities are trying to find a pretext for the “invasion” of Ukraine. A number of Western media wrote about the same.

According to them, US intelligence officials have evidence that Russia is planning to film a propaganda video showing a faked attack on its troops. Such a video could be used as a pretext to invade Ukraine.
