Parents from the village of Mediak (Chelyabinsk region) complain about the lack of stable Internet, which prevents the children from studying remotely. This is reported by the publication Znak.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schoolchildren have been transferred to distance learning and are forced to run outside to pick up mobile communications and send homework to teachers. At the same time, in the Argayash district, where the school is located, the weather is cold with temperatures below zero.

Anatoly Malev, head of the Kamyshevsky rural settlement, which includes Mediak, explains that at the moment the issue of providing high-speed Internet to the village is not being resolved, because providers are not ready to serve the remote village.

Earlier, the story of a student from the Omsk village, who, in order to study, has to surf the Internet by climbing a birch, received publicity. Where Alexei Dudolarov lives, there are no cell towers. Details of this story – in the material “Rosbalt”.
