Canadian citizens should leave Ukraine and avoid traveling to this country due to the threat of a possible “Russian invasion”. This is stated in the press service of the Canadian government.
The embassy warned that the possibility of providing consular services in Ukraine could be severely limited. “Avoid any travel to Ukraine,” the message also noted.
“There is a risk of armed conflict in Ukraine,” the text says.
It also states that “since November 2021, threats from Russia and a buildup of military power near the border with Russia and in Crimea have intensified.”
“Safety conditions are unpredictable and may worsen without warning,” the message stressed. It is noted that possible Russian military actions in Ukraine could disrupt transport routes and services throughout the country: flights can be disrupted or canceled at short notice, causing a delay in departure, they can also become scarce, making it difficult for you to leave the country.
