Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, in response to the words of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who compared Russia to a fox in a chicken coop, and Ukraine to chickens, said that Russia has always been compared to a bear. It is reported by TASS.

“Still, traditionally, Russia has always been compared with a bear. With all the desire, he cannot climb onto the roof of the chicken coop – he is too big and heavy for this, ”Peskov said.

Earlier, Psaki and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken compared Russia to a fox on the roof of a chicken coop, and Ukraine to chickens.

“When a fox yells from the top of the chicken coop about being afraid of chickens, which is basically what they do, that fear is not a real fact. And when you see President Putin screaming about being afraid of Ukraine and Ukrainians, this should not be interpreted as facts. We know who the fox is in this case,” Psaki said.

It should be noted that back in November-December last year, the topic of the alleged Russian “invasion” of Ukraine and the sanctions that should follow this appeared in the media. According to the authors and experts of these publications, a sign of “invasion” is the concentration of Russian military equipment in the regions bordering Ukraine. This was followed by numerous statements and publications about the impending sanctions against Russia. Moscow denied allegations of the alleged “invasion”.
