In connection with the aggravation on the border between Russia and Ukraine, the United States will send about 2.5 thousand troops to Poland. This was stated by the head of the National Security Bureau of Poland, Pavel Solokh, on the air of Polish Radio.

“We rely on American soldiers, and such negotiations have been held,” Solokh said.

“The Americans have already declared the other day the transfer of more than 8-8.5 thousand soldiers for the whole of Eastern Europe. We seem to have about 2,500 additional soldiers,” he added.

According to him, about 5.5 thousand American soldiers are now stationed in Poland.

It should be noted that Poland, like many EU countries, is convinced of the high probability of a hypothetical Russian attack on Ukraine, which could take place in the winter of 2021/2022. Since November last year, this has been reported by the world media, which publish pictures of Russian military equipment allegedly concentrated in the regions bordering Ukraine, and maps of the alleged directions of “Russian attacks”.
