He faced gunshots with the police after failing in a contract death that was ordered from the Litoral Penitentiary.
A 15-year-old teenager was arrested at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Guayaquil suburb after shooting a man. The 30-year-old victim was injured but managed to run and alert passing police officers.
According to witnesses, the gunshot attack occurred when the teenager arrived with another man on a motorcycle to 23rd and S, where the target of the crime was. After shooting and missing, he began to flee from the police, however, he also opened fire on the uniformed men who managed to apprehend him on 25th and R.
The motorcycle, the weapon, the percussive pods and even a bullet impact on the patrol car are the evidence that Criminalistics collected at the scene, while the minor was taken to the Guayas Prosecutor’s Office.
Colonel Wilson Torres, head of the Portete district, explained that the minor would have received the order from the Penitentiary and that he would belong to the Los Lagartos gang.
The alleged accomplice of the teenager, who was driving the motorcycle, managed to escape, but is wanted by the police.
