In the face of the emergency, reported around 1:00 p.m., the crew of the boat were evacuated with the support of another tourist ship that was in the area, the Galapagos National Park said on social networks.
At the moment, contingency work is being carried out and the situation in the area of the incident is being evaluated, the entity said.
ECU911 indicated that Navy personnel also advanced towards the area. The entity confirmed that there were no injuries in the mishap.
