A Venezuelan of approximately 30 years died on the morning of this Thursday, January 27, in the coop. Sergio Toral, in the northwest of Guayaquil.
The body had two wounds caused by a knife.
According to the residents, he would have had a fight in the area and they took his life in a fight.
Police arrived at the scene and cordoned off the scene to collect evidence and interview witnesses. The body was taken to the morgue.
Four days ago, a similar case occurred in the south of Guayaquil. José Manuel Aguilar, a 32-year-old Venezuelan, bled to death when he was wounded in the patio of his house, in the Los Claveles 2 sector, near the Cristo del Consuelo.
According to the Police, when they arrived at the site, the foreigner was lying on the floor and had eleven chest wounds. Although he was taken to the Teodoro Maldonado Carbo hospital, there the doctors only confirmed the death.
Neighbors said that the Venezuelan was talking to a man in the patio for about five minutes, then screams were heard and, when they called the police, they found the man injured.
Days before there had been another discussion in Aguilar’s home, so the Police are looking for a suspect.
So far in 2022, 91 violent deaths have been recorded in Zone 8. Last year, in the same period, there were 28 cases. (I)
