A policeman and several of his relatives were attacked by bullets on Sunday night in the suburb of Guayaquil. It happened at 11:00 p.m. at 12th and Sedalana, in the suburb.
It happened when the uniformed man was drinking at a birthday party in the doorway of a house and a black Kia Sportage approached. An armed man got out of the car and fired at the group of people.
The wounded uniformed officer was identified as Corporal Gino A., 32, who was shot in the left leg.
The second person injured is Julexy S., a friend of the uniformed man, who was shot in the head. The 22-year-old was taken to the Guayaquil hospital, where she is in critical condition.
The police officer told the investigators that the cause of the shooting would be Fabricio S., alias Colorado, with whom he had spoken shortly before the event.
