In St. Petersburg, the honored artist was detained on suspicion of raping a young girl. It is reported by the Academy of Sciences “Operational cover”.

The 73-year-old Russian horn player and music teacher, soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra, associate professor of the St. Petersburg Conservatory was detained on January 24 on Voznesensky Prospekt in the framework of a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violent acts of a sexual nature committed against a minor”) . The case was initiated in August 2021 according to the psychologist of the hotline, who became aware of the violence against a girl born in 2017.

According to the investigation, in 2020, an honored artist in the SNT “Artist” in the village of Roshchino, Vyborgsky district, committed sexual assault against a young girl, who, according to some reports, is his granddaughter.

Earlier in St. Petersburg, a migrant tried to rape a 12-year-old girl.
