Users inquire about the process, the AMT responds that provisions are expected to open services.
The vehicular technical review (RTV) and registration processes in Quito still do not have a start date for this year.
Given the dozens of queries on this issue, which have been made by users through social networks, the Metropolitan Transit Agency (AMT) reported the following: “We are waiting for general provisions for the opening of vehicle services 2022 (technical review vehicle, registration, change of domain, circulation permit)”.
That’s the response vehicle owners have received since the beginning of the year. User Édgar David wrote to the AMT account on Twitter, indicating that he owns a car with license plate number 1, so he wanted to carry out the technical review in Quito.

On Sunday, user Adriana Frixione also asked: “When are you going to solve the page to generate payment orders for vehicle inspection in Quito?” To which the AMT pointed out that the web portal is enabled and values pending payment of registration and transit sanctions can be consulted. “The generations of previous appointments and vehicle technical review values will be generated with the opening of the 2022 system,” indicated the Transit Agency.
Estimated at the moment we expect general provisions for the opening of vehicle services 2022. Please remember to stay informed through our official channels. Greetings
