“Don’t you recognize your mother?”: A resident of Khakassia was given the body of a strange woman in the morgue instead of her mother

A resident of Khakass Chernogorsk tried to give the body of a strange woman in the morgue instead of her mother. At the same time, the mortuary staff insisted that the daughter could not recognize her mother.

According to Prospekt Mira, the daughter of the deceased had to prove with great difficulty that it was not her mother in the coffin: “Look, girl. This is your mother, don’t you recognize your mother? She says: “I know my mother every mole. My mother had no teeth.” They let’s open their mouths: “She also has no teeth, look.” She says, “My mother didn’t have breasts.” This woman also had her breasts taken away. Only our mother’s left breast was taken away, and this woman’s right. And only then they looked and were convinced, and sort of agreed.”

Other people had already managed to bury the mother of a Chernogorsk resident – as a result, the grave had to be opened and reburied.

According to the Ministry of Health of Khakassia, this incident occurred in the Montenegrin branch of the Republican Clinical Bureau of Forensic Medicine. The department reported that an internal audit had begun, and explanatory notes were being collected from employees.
