The largest catering inspection in the history of the coronavirus infection COVID-19 pandemic took place this night in the center of St. Petersburg.

Approximately 200 people were involved, they were divided into 20 groups, all actions were coordinated by the Investigative Committee. They checked the restaurants of the participants in the so-called QR resistance, MK reports.

The audit involved specialists from Rospotrebnadzor, the UK, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, police officers, as well as representatives of Smolny.

In particular, according to Fontanka, the raid on Rubinstein Street could be observed from about 00:30 Moscow time. One of the epicenters was the Vice City institution, where representatives of Smolny and the police first arrived, and then firemen.

After the raid, a criminal case was initiated under the article “Performing work or providing services that do not meet safety requirements.”

Meanwhile, a difficult epidemiological situation has developed in the northern capital due to the coronavirus. Dmitry Lisovets, chairman of the health committee, told reporters about this yesterday. According to him, the increase in the incidence over the past day was 25% compared to the previous day.

By January 21, 5,922 cases of coronavirus per day were detected in the city on the Neva, which is an absolute record for the entire period of the pandemic.
