Former UFC fighter, actor and film producer Oleg Taktarov was severely beaten in the state of Quintana Roo in southern Mexico, TASS reports citing Andrey Troyanovsky, head of the consular department of the Russian Embassy in the Latin American country.

He offered to present the existing claims personally to him, and let the rest go home. But the actor was attacked, and, according to him, “every second” he thought he was going to die.
Later, representatives of the federal police arrived to deal with the incident.
