The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for St. Petersburg has launched an investigation into a criminal case previously initiated by the police on signs of violations of sanitary and epidemiological rules.

Earlier, on Saturday night, investigators, with the participation of police officers, employees of relevant committees of the government of St. Petersburg, Rospotrebnadzor, with the power support of the Russian Guard, inspected 20 establishments that provide catering services to the population.

“It has been established that all establishments operate at night, without QR codes. Protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up against 103 individuals located in the premises of these institutions, “and” the activities of the above institutions have been temporarily suspended,” the message on the website of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation says.

Recall, earlier today it was reported that in the center of the Northern capital on the night of January 22, the largest catering inspection in the history of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic took place. According to MK, about 200 people were involved, they were divided into 20 groups, all actions were coordinated by the Investigative Committee. They checked the restaurants of the participants of the so-called QR-resistance.
