In the registry offices of the Rostov region allowed laughter during the solemn marriage. An explanation about the ceremony is posted on the website of the regional registry office.
Recall that earlier the department published a decree on the procedure for holding marriage ceremonies in the Rostov region, in which there were a number of prohibitions, including a ban on laughter and conversations. After a public outcry, clarifications appeared.
The report says that, taking into account public opinion, the department introduces a new wording: loud conversations, including on the phone, and other actions that interfere with the marriage ceremony in a solemn atmosphere are prohibited. That is, the word “laughter” was removed from the prohibitions.
Also, during the wedding, it is forbidden to move furniture, be indoors in dirty shoes, outerwear and bring large bags, eat, drink alcohol and smoke. The decree also regulates the maximum time allowed for one marriage – only 40 minutes. The ordinance entered into force on January 17, 2022.
