An armed man came running and shot at the family who were in the doorway of their house. The wounded were transferred to Guayaquil in ambulances.
Two children, ages 8 and 9, were injured on the afternoon of this Saturday, January 22, in Daule, Guayas province, in the midst of an assassination attempt.
The minors were sitting on the sidewalk outside their house when a man in a gray sweater arrived and opened fire on an adult who was near them.
The adult and the two children were transferred to the Daule Basic Hospital. There they were given first aid and referred to hospitals in Guayaquil.
Regarding the attack, it was learned that a hooded subject came running to the house after getting off a motorcycle that was waiting for him at the next corner.
After firing the shots, the gunman fled on the motorcycle with his accomplice, but minutes later they would have been arrested.
The Police have not yet ruled on this fact.
