The Faculty of Psychology of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) will not develop an individual study plan for 9-year-old student Alisa Teplyakova. This was stated by a member of the Presidential Council under the President for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC) and the head of the Department of Personality Psychology of the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University Alexander Asmolov.

According to him, writes NEWS.ru, the 9-year-old girl is not a child prodigy and is unlikely to continue her studies at the Psychiatric Faculty in the traditional format. The curriculum does not correspond to the personal maturity of the child. “The program of the Faculty of Psychology and the further development of Alice as a person are incompatible,” Asmolov emphasized. He advised the girl’s family to abandon her studies at the Faculty of Psychology and pay attention to other opportunities for continuing her studies, for example, at the school of a young psychologist.

Recall that Alisa Teplyakova in the summer of 2021, at the age of eight, passed the exam and entered the paid department of the psychology faculty of Moscow State University. At the end of the year, her father Evgeny Teplyakov arranged a fight in the building of the psychology department, where students, including his daughter, were taking an exam. The student’s father said that his child was deliberately “failed” in the exam. The faculty said that publications by the Teplyakov family contain information discrediting the honor and dignity of Moscow State University, its staff and students. In addition, the press service of the Faculty of Psychology reported that Teplyakova missed the winter session and had not appeared at tests and exams since December 24. In response, the girl’s father threatened the faculty with the police and said that MSU was disclosing the child’s personal data.

According to Asmolov, Alice had a sharp disharmony between cognitive and personal development. “Now the main thing is to develop approaches to motivating environments in which Alice would develop her personality, and not jump over, like on a springboard, through those ages in which she can communicate with peers, play, do research. The girl jumped all these stages, and as a result, her development is under threat,” he stressed.

And he continued: “Teplyakova’s individual training plan is nonsense! It’s not about education at all. The individual training plan is all blah blah. The main task now is not to invest certain programs in Alice, like in a robot, but to develop her personality.

About a month ago, Alexander Asmolov appealed to the Chairman of the HRC Valery Fadeev, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova and Commissioner for Children’s Rights under the President of the Russian Federation Maria Lvova-Belova with a call to “stop the socio-psychological experiment” on Alisa Teplyakova, who, in his opinion, , spends the father of the girl. He also raised the issue of stopping the education of a nine-year-old student at Moscow State University.
