Two men were shot dead in Portoviejo; one of them, alias Sin control, who had been released after a robbery

Three people were attacked by gunshots in the early hours of this Saturday the 22nd in the Son Cubano sector, located east of Portoviejo. As a result of this assassination-style attack, two people died and another was injured.

It happened around 02:30 in that sector, which is next to the Verdi Cevallos Balda hospital. Witnesses indicate that the three people were talking outside a house in Son Cubano, and that their perpetrators arrived on a motorcycle and one of them fired shots at the three who were gathered.

A neighbor of the sector, who did not identify himself, said that the three people were supposedly being prowled. The assassin unloaded several shots, mainly against Víctor Leones Morales Torres, alias Out of control.

Marcos Andrés Pilay Palma was also injured, but a few minutes after entering the Portoviejo hospital he died. The other wounded man, whose identity was not disclosed, was in stable condition until Saturday morning.

A police officer, who also did not identify himself, confirmed the death of the two people, and that they were attacked by bullets.

Pilay records two records for theft and drug trafficking.
