In the Yaroslavl region, residents over 60 were sent to self-isolation

In the Yaroslavl region, due to a surge in covid incidence, a decision was made to send residents over 60 years old to self-isolation. At enterprises and companies, half of the unvaccinated and unill workers will be transferred remotely, the press service of the regional government reports. Self-isolation will also affect people with chronic diseases who have not been vaccinated and who have not been ill.

Children’s educational institutions are recommended to switch to distance learning if 20% of children in a class or at school are sick. Now there are no completely quarantined schools in the region, only separate classes. At the slightest sign of a cold, parents are advised to leave their children at home.

Recall that now 1,404 beds have been deployed in hospitals in the region for patients with coronavirus, of which 1,700 are occupied. The daily increase in people infected with coronavirus, starting from the weekend, is about 10%. According to the results of this week, growth compared to the previous one may be more than 30%. In the region, an increase in the number of cases among children is recorded.
