The fact was recorded in images from a camera in the sector of Napo and Tarqui streets.
In the video, two subjects are seen moving against the road on a motorcycle and trying to subdue a person.
While this is happening, on the other side of the street a policeman is seen who gets off a motorcycle, draws his weapon and subdues the assailants.
When the individuals see the police officer in the middle of the street, they lose their balance on the motorcycle and fall to the ground. At that moment they try to crawl and escape, but the uniformed man points at them.
Milagro media reported that the victim was a citizen who had withdrawn money from a bank and was apparently watched by antisocials. This event occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 20.
Seeing the actions of the uniformed man, people gathered in the area and began to express their support for the agent. “Okay, police. Well, police”, “Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations”, is heard in some videos.
