The authorities in Kiev began to distribute instructions in the event of a war. It is reported by “Vesti.ua”.
“The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy sends instructions to Kiev enterprises “How to act in case of emergency and war”,” the publication notes.
According to media reports, a special brochure has been developed. The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security under the department worked on it together with the State Emergency Service, the Ministry of Defense and the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. The document was approved in June last year.
In it, people are given several dozen tips in case hostilities break out, for example, prepare your home for a possible military conflict in advance, find out the location of the nearest shelter in advance, create water and medicine supplies, prepare things, documents and private vehicles for evacuation. It is forbidden to approach the windows if shots are heard, to observe the course of hostilities, argue with armed people, take pictures, demonstrate weapons, pick up abandoned weapons and ammunition, etc. The text also states that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are able to “protect the people of Ukraine” and “effectively deter aggressor.”
It should be noted that relations between Russia and Ukraine have been experiencing another round of aggravation since November, when reports appeared in the media about the movement of Russian military equipment in the border regions. This prompted claims of an allegedly impending Russian invasion of Ukraine.
