Comrades-in-arms of Alexei Navalny published new photos from the palace in Gelendzhik on Cape Idokopas, which is called “Putin’s palace”. So, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, told the Rise newspaper the day before: “The record is very worn out. Many years ago we already explained that Putin has no palaces.”
And today, when asked to comment on the published photos, he replied: “We haven’t seen anything yet.”
Recall that a year ago, a film by FBK, which caused a huge public outcry, was released on YouTube (The Anti-Corruption Foundation was previously included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of organizations performing the functions of a foreign agent, and recognized as a banned extremist organization, was subsequently liquidated – ed. ed.) about a large-scale construction on Idokopas.
Then Peskov, and then Putin himself, said that the “palace” did not belong to the president or his relatives, but they refused to name the owner. Later, businessman Arkady Rotenberg said that the territory belongs to him, and that an apart-hotel is being built on it.
Now Rotenberg refuses to comment on this topic, points out “Rise” with reference to the representative of the businessman.
