The St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly will create a map for snow removal in the city. Speaker Alexander Belsky made such a statement at the first meeting of parliament in 2022, a Rosbalt correspondent reports.
The map will contain information about the cleaning of territories from snow and ice, and a working group headed by New People deputy Dmitry Pavlov will be responsible for the project.
Belsky said that deputies should solve local problems in their constituencies and work more closely with residents through public receptions.
As planned, the heat map should answer the questions of citizens about which authorities and organizations are responsible for specific land plots. There will also be problem areas. The map will be ready next week.
Alexander Belsky also suggested doing a similar project in the field of garbage disposal.
Deputy Boris Vishnevsky criticized the idea, saying that the heat map would become another depressing symbol of St. Petersburg. The parliamentarian was surprised that no public statements were heard from the executive authorities on snow and garbage problems. Vishnevsky proposed holding a Government Hour on this topic in parliament next week so that officials could explain themselves to the public.
About how the garbage collapse of St. Petersburg went into folk memes, “Rosbalt” told earlier.
