Supporters of the radical Taliban movement (recognized as terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation – approx. ed.) used tear gas against protesters in the Afghan capital Kabul. It is reported by TASS with reference to Aamaj News.
According to the agency, “a group of Afghan women took to the streets of Kabul to protest against the restrictions imposed by the Taliban.”

It was reported that the Taliban restricted girls’ access to schools in most provinces of the country, required female TV presenters to wear the hijab, and advised local TV stations to refrain from showing films featuring the fairer sex.
In 2021, it was reported that the Taliban opened fire on women protesters in Kabul who came out to protest with banners “We are the voice of a hungry people”, “Justice!”, “Long live humanity”.
