The composition of the Russian national hockey team for the Beijing Olympics

The list of hockey players of the expanded composition of the Russian national team for the Beijing Olympics 2022 has been published. The list includes seven players from SKA and CSKA, three from Kazan’s Ak Bars and Dynamo Moscow, four representatives of Avangard and players from other clubs in the Continental Hockey League.

Let’s remind, the Olympic Games from February, 4 till February, 20th in Beijing. On December 22, the National Hockey League (NHL) officially announced that its players will not take part in the Olympics due to an increase in the number of cases of covid among league players. A total of 12 men’s teams will take part in the Games.

NHL players also missed the previous Olympics in 2018. Then the victory was won by the Russian team, which in the final was stronger than Germany 4:3 (OT).
