Passionate lovers need not fear death from cardiac arrest in the midst of love ecstasy. This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted by British doctors from the Institute of St. George, who studied the medical history of about 7 thousand people who died from cardiac arrest between 1994 and 2000.

According to “MK in Kalmykia”, referring to the results of the study published in the press, only 17 out of 7 thousand dead, or about 0.2%, died during intercourse or within an hour after it. At the same time, more than half during love games did not observe any disturbances in the work of the heart. As you might expect, two-thirds of those who died were men, who are more likely to suffer from cardiovascular disease than the fair half of humanity.

It follows from this that although it is necessary to be observed by a cardiologist, the risk of dying from cardiac arrest during lovemaking is no more serious than during any other moderate exercise, and people with heart pathologies should not put an end to their personal lives without good reason.
