Earlier, Forbes experts found that the availability of 74% of goods and services that Russians actively bought in 2013 and continue to buy has fallen by 69% over eight years. Food products have risen in price most of all, however, a significant part of non-food products in the consumer basket is made up of various medicines. Prices for most of them grew at a faster rate than income: for example, validol, Corvalol, Valocordin, Almagel, and multivitamins went up in price. However, the publication admits, a significant proportion of drugs today is still more accessible than in 2013, for example, pancreatin, ambroxol, suprastin, smecta.
