Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat violated environmental laws. This was reported by Rosprirodnadzor, whose South Ural Interregional Department completed the audit of the company.

“According to the results of laboratory studies, it turned out that nitrogen dioxide emissions exceed the standards established by the relevant permit. It was also recorded that from 11/20/2021 to the present, emissions of pollutants from the catalytic cracking complex are carried out in the absence of a permit for the emission of harmful (pollutant) substances into the atmospheric air,” the message says.

The inspectors revealed that the enterprise did not calculate the fee for the over-limit emission of pollutants from hydrogen production units.

It was also found that the company is operating new capital construction projects without an appropriate conclusion.

An order was issued to eliminate the identified violations.
