Requirements for officers and specialist crew members 2022
- Be Ecuadorian by birth in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of the Constitution.
- Minimum height barefoot for women of 1.60 centimeters and for men of 1.65 centimeters.
- Be of legal age up to 35 years 0 months 0 days, calculated on the date of entry, to the training schools.
- Possess a third level higher degree in higher education institutes, legally recognized by the State and registered in the Senescyt.
- Not having been discharged from active service in accordance with the current regulations of the training schools of the Armed Forces, National Police or Traffic Commission of Ecuador, except for the causes stipulated in the Armed Forces Education Regulations in force .
- Not having been discharged from active service from the Armed Forces training schools for misconduct, for lack of adaptation to the military life applicable in the three forces and for entering the military training education institutes with adulterated documentation or forged duly tested
