An illegal Nicaraguan migrant cleaner who was cleaning the villa of Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson asked not to be accused of spying for Russia. This is reported by the publication “Swedish News” with reference to the Swedish tabloid Expressen, adding that the woman appealed to the king of Sweden for clemency.
The suspect is now in the pre-trial detention center of the Swedish Migration Board and has already received a deportation order.
According to the accused, she did not suspect that she was working in the villa of such an important person.
Judging by the reports of the Swedish and world media, there could be more compelling and plausible grounds for the detention of the illegal cleaning lady than hypothetical “espionage”. The cleaning company where the woman worked not only hired illegal immigrants, but also did not have a collective agreement. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister has declared the fight against the shadow economy, in which illegal immigrants are employed, one of the priorities of her activities. At the moment, Magdalena Andersson assures that she was not aware of the machinations of the cleaning service, and was sure that the ill-fated cleaner lives and works in Sweden legally.
