In Volgograd, a pack of stray dogs attacked a twelve-year-old schoolgirl, biting her leg. The girl needed medical attention, but now her life and health are out of danger.
Now, in connection with an attack by stray dogs on a girl hurrying to school, a prosecutor’s check is underway. According to the Volgograd media, citing the story of the mother of the injured girl, the area where the attack took place is “inhabited by stray dogs,” while the local authorities do not take decisive action in the fight against dangerous animals, and the trapping service reports that it is overloaded with applications.
Over the past months and years, stray dogs have repeatedly attacked residents of Volgograd and the Volgograd region – according to the local Rospotrebnadzor, in 2020 alone, 6308 people suffered from stray dogs. Stray dogs terrorize residents of other large and small Russian cities, such as Yakutsk, where, after the death of a female scientist from the dog’s teeth, a headquarters for catching dogs was created and a high alert was declared.
