According to him, they appear due to infection of patients with immunodeficiency. On the air of the Russia 1 TV channel, the teledoctor noted that in the body of such patients, covid mutates much faster than in other people. Myasnikov recalled a patient with lymphoma from Cambridge, in whom hundreds of mutations were found. “Nature would have taken about ten years. These are incubators for new viruses. And this is how the omicron came into being. And the following viruses will be among immunocompromised patients who will become infected, ”Myasnikov warned.
In this regard, according to the TV presenter, people with immunodeficiency need to be vaccinated with “three doses or more” due to the relatively low effect of vaccination in them.
Earlier, Myasnikov stated that COVID-19 cannot be classified as a new disease, and the main difference between covid and other viral diseases lies in the nature of its spread. In addition, he criticized the Russians for allegedly ruining medicine with their concern for their health.
