Several other defendants were arrested in the case of fatal poisoning by a surrogate in Tyumen. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.
It is noted that five more people became involved in the case of the sale of methyl alcohol and the death of people. They were charged under the article on the production and sale of goods that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life or health of consumers, which inadvertently resulted in the death of more than two persons. All five were arrested before March 5.
One of those arrested is the head of the Rubin store, said the joint press service of the Tyumen region’s judicial system.
Earlier today, a saleswoman of one of the stores was also arrested for 2 months, who was selling unlicensed alcohol-containing liquid with a vodka label “Rodniki Sibiri”, Interfax notes.
We will remind, in Tyumen at the beginning of January this year nine people died from methyl alcohol poisoning. A criminal case was opened, and the security forces detained ten suspects.
