The issue of the absence of dumplings in school canteens in the Moscow Region was raised by the Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov. The topic was discussed at this year’s first meeting of the head of the region with representatives of the regional government and heads of municipalities.
Ilya Bronstein, the Minister of Education of the Moscow Region, said that many schoolchildren, as shown by polls, are asked to include dumplings in the menu. Vorobyov was indignant at the lack of dumplings in school canteens: “What about dumplings? What is the problem? Normal desire. We all went to school, we all wanted dumplings. Why are there no dumplings? Dear ones, or what? “
In turn, the chief sanitary doctor of the Moscow region Olga Mikailova explained that the product is not on the menu of schoolchildren, as it poses an “increased risk of microorganism reproduction.” In response, Vorobyov insisted: “There must be dumplings!” As a result, the head of the Moscow region demanded to work out this issue and announced his readiness to allocate money for these purposes.
