Passengers of the Aeroflot flight from Simferopol to Moscow, which was postponed twice without explanation, are awaiting departure at the airport. None of them were given a place in the hotel, Interfax reports.
At the moment, the waiting time is about 13 hours: the departure was planned at 14:10 Sunday, and now it is scheduled for 3:25 Monday.
As the passengers told the agency, the airline organized meals on boarding tickets, but in the amount of 450 rubles per person in the airport cafe you can get only a portion of potatoes and mineral water, and after two hours of waiting in line. “For those wishing to change tickets, Aeroflot employees declare that the next flight for which tickets can be taken will be January 14,” one of the passengers told Interfax.
The company did not inform the passengers about the reasons for the flight delay, however, according to the agency’s source, technical malfunctions found on the plane were the reason. According to the same source, a total of about 400 passengers were stuck at the airport.
