In 2022, Russians are most often afraid of being left without money, losing their jobs and contracting coronavirus.
As follows from the results of the SuperJob survey, citizens are afraid of being left without money or not being able to repay the loan: such fears were reported by 29% of respondents. According to 28%, the worst thing is to lose their job or not find a new job. 15% of respondents are afraid of a serious illness, including coronavirus in themselves or in someone close to them.
Another 11% fear new shocks and that the coming year will be worse than 2021.
For 8% of Russians, the main fear in 2022 is the collapse of the ruble. 6% each are afraid that children will not receive a decent education and that antiquated restrictions on culture and entertainment will be extended. The same percentage (6%) worry about maintaining family relationships or about their own loneliness. 3% worry that next year they will not be able to relax abroad due to the still closed borders. 4% of respondents named other reasons for fear, most often they mentioned military conflicts.
Every fifth Russian (21%) in the coming year is not afraid of anything.
