“We have to go, in a popular way, to kneel down, apologize to the military in order to smooth out this crack, which has emerged, and sit down with the authorities, with Tokayev for negotiations and building their own state,” Lukashenka said.

He called the situation in Kazakhstan instructive for Belarus.

“This is a lesson for us. One more lesson. In the sense that we have now understood what could have happened to us, ”he added.

Protests in Kazakhstan began after the New Year over the rise in the price of liquefied gas. Clashes began. Police in the city of Almaty announced the elimination of “dozens” of protesters who attacked administrative buildings.
