The individual points a gun at her and forces her to get out of the vehicle. In his attempt to take a bag from her, he drags her out into the street, while another man approaches on a motorcycle.
The incident occurred last Monday, January 3, on Dídimo Arteaga and Quinta Transversal streets, in the San Pablo parish, in the northeast of Portoviejo.
The victim was identified as Jenny L., whom the offender tried to shoot. She claimed that the pistol jammed on one of the assailants.
The woman was about to leave on a motorcycle when she was approached by the subjects. One of them tried to snatch a bag from her, but she resisted.
This action provoked the anger of the assailants and one of them hit him with the weapon, while the other person kicked him in the chest.
The woman received at least five blows with the weapon and four kicks from those who intimidated her, but they were unable to commit their wrongdoing, as the exit and barking of a dog intimidated them.
