Two previously convicted men were detained on suspicion of the murder of a five-year-old girl in Kostroma. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.
“The suspects in the murder have been detained. One of them is on trial for committing theft and imprisonment, the trial period established by the court has not expired. The second had previously served a sentence in places of imprisonment for committing a crime against sexual inviolability and illegal trafficking in pornographic materials; by a court decision, after serving his sentence, administrative supervision was established for him, ”the report says.
The day before, the child went for a walk, and then two men took him away. After that, the body of the child was found in one of the hostels.
The criminal case was initiated under clause “c” of Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of a minor).
Residents of Kostroma staged a spontaneous action near the hostel, in which they found the girl’s body, some demanded to hand over the suspects in order to arrange lynching over them, Interfax reports.
The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Kostroma department to report on the investigation of the criminal case.
