Two men on motorcycles starred in the frustrated robbery on Abraham Calazacón Avenue at the height of the Circle of Continents, this Monday afternoon.
David Paredes reported that they went with his father and a friend to cash a check, but it was not cashed at the banking institution. Upon returning to the vehicle in which they were being transferred, they were surprised by two individuals who, with a firearm, demanded that they be handed a bag.
In the midst of the struggle, Paredes was hit by a bullet in the chest, while his father was unharmed, albeit with blows. Both were transferred to a sanatorium for medical attention.
Meanwhile, the alleged criminals fled on the motorcycle after observing the presence of police officers.
Rubén Narváez, head of the western police district, said that the search for the assailants began with the help of video surveillance cameras in the area. Until now there is no information about his arrest.
