As the doctor said in his Telegram channel, “there is no such new COVID disease.” According to the specialist, there have always been both acute respiratory viral diseases, such as influenza, rhinoviruses and other human coronaviruses, as well as viral pneumonia.
“Now a new causative agent of acute respiratory infections and viral pneumonia has appeared and has taken a dominant position: the CoV-2 coronavirus,” the doctor added.
Myasnikov sees the main problem in COVID-19 in its mass character. At the same time, the doctor recalled the “meaning of (medical) masks.” “Since a person with COVID is contagious precisely during the incubation period, when he does not yet know that he is sick and is actively moving around, everyone should wear a mask,” the specialist is convinced.
