There are 605 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas during December 2021 and of that number only in the last week, 199 new infected were registered, and confirmation of another 63 is expected.
That was the diagnosis issued this Monday by the health authorities in that province, where it was also indicated that 30 people died due to the pandemic in December, that is, on average one person per day dies in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas to cause of COVID-19.

In the sectors considered critical of the province, due to the higher incidence of serious cases, during the last week of December the Alluriquín parish was identified, as well as the San Gabriel and Julio Moreno communes.
