In Russia, from January 1, 2022, the size of the indexation of pensions for non-working pensioners for old age, disability, loss of the breadwinner amounted to 5.9%.
Therefore, up to 104.69 rubles. the cost of 1 individual pension coefficient (IPC) for calculating the insurance pension will increase, and the fixed payment will be 6 thousand 401 rubles. The PRIME agency was told about this by the professor of the Department of Finance and Prices of the PRUE. G.V. Plekhanova Yulia Finogenova.
According to her, an increase in the fixed payment will entail an increase in additional payments tied to its size: additional payments for a dependent, for rural and northern seniority, an additional payment to pensions for disabled people of group I and 80-year-old citizens.
Thus, taking into account the increase, the average annual size of the insurance pension for non-working pensioners will be 18,521 rubles. And from April 1, social pensions will be indexed by 7.7%, and the size of the social old-age pension will reach 6,242 rubles.
Finogenova noted that the proposals of Russian President Vladimir Putin to increase the minimum wage by 8.6% will lead to an increase in the minimum subsistence level for pensioners in the regions.
According to the expert, working pensioners will have to recalculate their pensions in the summer. “So, taking into account the additional experience, the maximum amount of the increase will be no more than 296.6 rubles. (3 individual pension coefficients) depending on the size of the received salary, ”she said.
In addition, from February 1, the monthly cash payment (MAP) will be indexed for federal privileged categories of citizens (disabled groups of 1, 2, 3, WWII veterans, participants in hostilities, etc.). “So far, the amount of indexation of their pensions has been set at 5.8%, but it is possible that at the beginning of the year it will be revised based on the new realities of inflation,” Finogenova said.
Let us also remind that amendments to the pension legislation came into force in Russia as early as January 1, 2019. In particular, it is planned to gradually (until 2028) increase the retirement age for men – from 60 to 65 years, for women – from 55 to 60 years. Moreover, according to official statistics, the average life expectancy in Russia is less than 73 years.
