Nutritionist told how to get rid of a headache

Nutritionist Lyudmila Denisenko advised to drink more water and eat potatoes and nuts to relieve headaches.

According to KP.RU, the simplest remedy for headaches, including those due to a hangover, is still water.

“Chronic dehydration can trigger a variety of pains, including headaches. Therefore, if you have not yet started drinking 1.5-2 liters of water every day, then the New Year is a great time to start this healthy habit, ”the specialist explained.

Also, according to her, it is useful to eat baked potatoes with peels, which contain a lot of potassium, pumpkin seeds rich in magnesium and zinc, and almonds – a source of magnesium and vitamin B2. In addition, oily fish such as herring and mackerel have an anti-inflammatory effect due to their omega-3 and therefore reduce the frequency and severity of headache attacks.

Finally, you can relieve the unpleasant condition with the help of ginger tea, which has anti-inflammatory and antihistamine properties, and a pinch of cayenne pepper.

On the other hand, foods that can trigger pain include tyramine-rich smoked meats, red wine, canned food, chocolate, bananas, and pine nuts.
