“Russia is not ready for the offensive at all”: Ukraine did not notice the threat of invasion

There are no obvious signs of the Russian Federation’s preparations for an invasion of Ukrainian territory now, says Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine.

“Today we do not see a great danger at the borders. To date, we do not see threats of open aggression from the Russian Federation, “he said, reports the Politics of the Country Telegram channel.

According to Danilov, there is now a slight increase in Russian troops on the border, but it is not critical.

In addition, as the NSDC secretary emphasized, Russia is “not at all ready for an attack on Ukraine.”

Earlier, he said that the invasion of the Russian army would require “at least three, four, five times – much more” forces. At the same time, he acknowledged that the threat of attack remains.

Danilov also expressed the opinion that Russian President Vladimir Putin is seeking the collapse of Ukraine into several parts.

We will remind, in November, the Western media have repeatedly reported that Russia is concentrating its troops on the border with Ukraine. Journalists reported on various plans for the invasion of the neighboring country by Russian troops.
