The purpose of this service is to prevent home theft through targeted patrolling and periodic visits to a property during the owner’s temporary absence.
This holiday, from December 31, 2021 to January 2, 2022, some families are absent from home. For the Police to take care of your security, an online form must be filled out 24 hours before leaving the residence.
They will ask for information, location and some commitments will be made. Another way to order your home is to go to the nearest Community Police Unit (UPC). They are open from Monday to Sunday, from 08:00 to 20:00.
The domicile commission is a program created in 2010. The community can request it all year round.
From January to last August, the Prosecutor’s Office registered 48,000 complaints for theft nationwide, 12,000 more than in the same period of the previous year.
