In St. Petersburg, the court acquitted five defendants in the case of rape in an orphanage

The Kirovsky District Court of St. Petersburg acquitted five defendants in the criminal case for sexual acts against the children of the orphanage.

The court found Stanislav Vinogradov, Mikhail Yelin, Kirill Pokalyuk, Pavel Prikashchikov and Andrey Solovyov innocent. The four defendants were released from custody in the courtroom. The deceased Vinogradov is also acquitted.

In 2019, the Kirovsky District Court of St. Petersburg terminated criminal proceedings against the director of Orphanage No. 10, Natalya Fedorova, who was accused of negligence due to the scandal. The proceedings were terminated due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

In 2018, the investigators completed the investigation of the criminal case against the former director of school No. 565 of the Kirovsky district of St. Petersburg Stanislav Vinogradov, the former deputy director of the orphanage Mikhail Yelin, former pupils and students of the school Pavel Prikashchikov, Kirill Pokalyuk and Andrey Soloviev.

The investigation considered it established 23 facts of committing by the accused violent actions against the pupils of the orphanage of the center for orphans and children left without parental care “Center for the Promotion of Family Education No. 8”.
